Bitch please.

I have a huge dislike for the girls who think they know what being an army wife is all about as well as dating one "army guy" and thinking they are all like that. I also hate that term, but it comes with the territory. If you date a guy employed by the military for a couple months you automatically think you know how hard it is, how much you guys have been through together, how you have supported him through so much. GET A CLUE. I have been with Mr. M for almost 5 years and I still learn something new every week about what it's like to live in this kind of lifestyle. We aren't even married yet for heaven's sake. I stand by him through thick and thin and he bends over backwards for me. When you love someone it doesn't matter what their job is. If you care enough to stick by them no matter what, and that goes both ways, then you are golden. Relationships are hard no matter what kind of career you have.
Ug. Ok. End Rant.

Detailed Life Postage & Ellen

I know, I know. I said I would post last night.
However, life got in the way of that. I had to make a card and cheesecake dessert for my work. Today is my last day of the fulltime kitchen shift I had taken over for another woman. She had to have surgery so I volunteered to fill in for a few months. I worked 10 to 5 and did allllll the laundry, baking, snacks, lunch heating and serving for the 2's and 3/4's, dishes, and breaks/lunches for the staff. Very stressful. I was worried I would not be able to handle it since I had taken on a difficult position in September and opted out of it in October because of the stress. This time I did amazing. I am truly proud of myself.

Mr. M and I have made a few leaps and bounds lately after I realized I was in fact the problem. I don't like admitting when I am wrong and sometimes seek out fights which are not helpful in a relationship. I enjoy drama and get bored easily whithin a relationship. I choose not to accept Mr. M for who he is and try and change him when I haven't changed hair. These are all things I realized over the weekend. Does this make me a terrible person in Mr. M's eyes? No. He loves me deeply and wants needs me to be happy. So, instead of concentrating on these things I have chosen to be happy and admit when I'm wrong ( even when I know I'm right) because Mr. M is something I never want to lose. He's my best friend and I love him very much.

Ok, enough sap and honesty. Yuck. That was mainly for my friend T-pain. How's that for detailed life postage. tmi. lmao.

I am going to my first of 5 weddings (so far) this summer, on Saturday. Mr. M's cousin is getting married. We were invited but not his mother, which is akward. I am excited though! I absolutely adore weddings, plus I need some focus on mine and it's easy to see little details that I haven't thought of by going to a real wedding, ha ha! So It's off to N.S. this long weekend for us!

So, I've covered job, love, weekend plans, hmmm.

I need to post pictures of my house, but we are going to paint soon, so I will wait. We were not going to paint but now we are since we'll be here for longer than we thought. The army doesn't like our "Life Plan A" so on to B.

I miss friends, I need some major girly time. Hopefully next weekend my plans to go dancing follow through. I just wanna dance. I'm really feeling the shopping cart move right now.

There are just so many to choose from.

ps. peek at one of my photos from my Maine shoot...

Well, I must get ready for work.

Love to you blog world,
Tmo

Summer Love + Weddings!

It's Spring people! Get excited! I am so excited for Summer. Short shorts, pretty dresses, and no need for heavy coat wearing. Diving, rock climbing, camping, and weddings! Not mine, that's next year. I have 2 friends, 1 Stepbrother, and Mr. M's Cousin all getting married from July to October. I'm excited to get ideas and such from them.

As much romance as there is in my life I have recently just become fully aware of how lucky I am to have my Mr. M. I have 3 coworkers that have left or been left by their partners, 2 married and one long-term. My Fiancee may sometimes be a prick, annoying, say the wrong thing, and make mistakes. All that said, I can be a bitch, be naggy, picky, and ultra jealous. If you love someone it doesn't matter about all the bad...You are still going to love them through it. If you can't, then it's not meant to be. I need to start being more thankful of the wonderful man in my life that takes care of me better than I even know how to take care of myself. It'll be 4 years for us on the 15th so I'll post more about us then... Anyway, enough of this "reflection time". Just been on my mind recently.

I think I am going to start training to run a 5k at the end of May. My friend M.'s post on on her friend Will Power. inspired me. I don't know Mr. Will Power (see what I did there? I copied M. That's the most sincere form of flaterry M., don't be offended.) very well but I'd like to get to know him. I tend to start craft projects, cleaning, excersise, hobbies, and various other important things and not finish them. TERRIBLE habit. It makes me angry with myself. Grrrrrr, Tmo, stick with something. So, lately I have been Pole Dancing an hour everyday and now I want to start running. I actually LOVE running, but I have a hard time starting the process of running. Like, putting sneakers on and walking out the door (sounds easy?), that's just something I have trouble with. It's so hard. Sarcasm poeple. Ok, I am ranting.

I had a wonderful weekend in case you'd like to know. I went to a birthday party Friday, had a lovely Sat. with my lover, bbq on Sat. night with army friends, then Sunday Mr. M went away till Friday diving. Sunday night I had a bbq and a lovely walk with 2 of my co-workers G and S.

Here's hoping for more beautiful weather this week, especially Friday for when Mr. M comes home.

Much love bloggers, I apologize for the long post. I need to blog more so you don't suffer as much, ha ha.

Some "He's home tomorrow" & a side of "I'm vain, F*&%"

Mr. M comes home tomorrow evening! So the house is close to being clean...RIGHT! HA! So not clean. I AM working on it though. Those close to me do not believe me, but I'm not lying. Really. Really.

Anyway! I just watched the movie Jennifer's Body with Meaghan Fox. It was actually more dark humour making fun of horror movies than scary. Which I am glad for, since I have one more night alone...dun dun duuuuhhhhh.

I also realized today, as I was staring in the mirroir, that I am totally vain!! My mom always used to make fun of me for looking in the mirroir all the time. Mr. M does now, as well as a few friends. It's not like I'm staring in the mirroir thinking to myself -

"Oh. M. G. Look at that hot piece of ass right there. What a gorgeous human being I am. They should make a friggen statue of me. WHY HAVEN'T THEY?!"

It's more like -

"Oh. M. G. I need to tighten that thing up asap & Does it really actually look like that!? WHY HAS NO ONE GIVEN ME A PAPER BAG to put over my hideous face?!"

Ok. Well, not quite that bad. I have a lot of people call me skinny. Well, that's all good and fine, but skinny people have insecurities too

Well, now that I have bestowed some of my wisdom on you, you can go away a better person for knowing this.

I think I should probably go to bed. I am sorry for yelling at you.
Love to you boggers.

Christmas & housewifeness

It is SNOWINGGGGG! I love the snow. I do. Even if I have to wipe it off, or shovel it, or get it down my shirt. I love it. This time of year is so warm and loving. Brings me happy feelings - get your mind out of the gutter.

So, today I watched 2 Star Wars movies. Then put on the fireplace channel, some christmas tunes, and cleaned! Yes, cleaned. I got the kitchen and living room done, so tomorrow bathroom & bedroom.

Now I'm making some supper and waiting for the live Grinch to come on!! Whoop! :)

Mr. M had a birthday a few days ago but he is out in the field as I said in the last post. So when he gets home next week he said all he wants is a clean house. Ha ha ha... ahhhh. Goodness. So, I'm working on that. I'm also going to get him an ice cream cake! This is me trying to be a housewife.

It's onnnnn! & Food is readyyyy.

Love to you bloggers.

Since Tuesday (of LAST week)

Ever Since Tuesday I have been FANTASIC.

I was feeling kind of blah since my beau is in the field. BUT on TUESDAY it all changed. I had my second burlesque class done by this amazing lady (NB area). It is so much fun!! Makes you feel super sassy and fun and she is so easy to work with. G. and I have a ball!
Then on Wednesday I went to Snooty's with some new girlfriends that are not army wives which is kind of nice.

Thursday I got to see my man for 2 hours! Whoop! Then G. and I went to town and bought some things.

Friday I went to the base ThankGodIt'sFriday with G. you get free food and the chance to win gift certificates! I won a 25$gift certificate from Home Depot! Bam! Then we decided we we needed to dance. So we went back to town to pick up some last minute things and I decided to buy an amazing straightener called Amika. I'm in love. After that we danced the night away while ignoring creepy army guys at a local bar. It's more fun than it sounds.

Saturday I had my photoshoot which G. joined me at! It went fantastic!

Sunday I had a day of rest, then a night at the movies with G. (Who I clearly spend too much time with.) I got a text during "Due Date" (Which is fricken HILARIOUS) and surprise! Mr. M was at home on my doorstep. He got to come in since he had an important inspection at his other job. (Which he passed with flying colors!! So Proud.)

Monday, well, nothing & that's ok, ha ha.

Then today, Doctor's app. so I can finally find out what is wrong with me! After that I had dinner with my mommy. As well as Burlesque class. Good day.

Now on to being excited about tomorrow night.

Much love,
Tmo

In all honesty.

I'm extremely anxious about something & That's all I can say about that.
If you know, you know, if you don't you never will.

Gahhhhh.

***

On a brighter note! I am loving my crafty little self.

Snowflake Craft I just started tonight.

2 Snowmen done of 6. I love them.

Yesterday I had a fantastic day! I hung out with two long lost sorority sistas and very good friends. My friend L. and I traveled an hour to see a dear friend in a neaby city. We attended a Remembrance Day Ceremony that was PACKED. It was awesome, we couldn't even sit down. Being a military fiance it made me so proud of him and to be in this crazy military life. <3 He he.

This weekend I'll be going out to my Mommy' house. She is my hairdresser and I'm in dire need.
It'll also be early Christmas on my Dad's side, since my Nan goes to Florida for the next 6ish months. So I'm pretty pumped.

It's 1:12 am. I should really go to bed. This is what happens when Mr. M goes to the field. He is there till next Thursday. So only a few more days. :)

Do you like the new look?
Button coming soon.

Goodnight Bloggers,

It's officially my Birthdayyyy

I am turning twenty-two. Which is so weird to me. I feel old, but I also feel so young. Ha ha. Stuck in the middle I suppose. My status on facebook currently says: Well, hello there 22. Twenty-one brought me: Deployment, rockclimbing, Christmas happiness, Scuba cert., moving in together, new kitty, Jamaica, new friends, old friends & concert, photoshoots, an engagment, and so many memories! So go ahead 22, surprise me. ♥

I'm so excited for 22. I imagine it'll be amazing and full of more lessons and memories... So many. I have definitely learned my fair share of things this year. Done a lot of growing up. Here are some things I'll share:

*You have to stay true to yourself, no matter what people may think.
*Not everyone likes you, and that's ok.
*Your true friends are always going to be there, no matter what.
*When in doubt, overdress.
*Wine is always a good option and Vodka Rockstars.
*You will inevatibly stay up till 4 in the morning if you drink said Rockstar.
*If someone loves you enough, everything will eventully be ok. If not better than before.
*Blogging is harder than I thought.

I have been actually having a great time while Mr. M has been mia. Went to my Aunt's wedding friday night then made a random decision to go to a Lady Gaga themed party with my sorority. I had an amazing time and ended up going out the next night as well. Which is different from my current lifestyle. I like it every now and then though.

Tomorrow I am going to kareoke night with a good friend of mine. I am so glad that I'm actually doing something for my birthday. I did have plans ith Mr. M, but he's helping out in Newfounland (hurricane Igor).
o00o0o, guess what? Remember when I took pole dancing classes? Well, my instructor is moving to Toronto so she is selling off her amazng poles for half price! I am getting one. I am so pumped because it is such a great workout! Let you know more later!

Can't wait to dance and sing tomorrow night!
(Thank you to myself, clearly not as classy as my idol.)

(thank you google images)

Ok, time to hit the hay. <3
Happy Birthday to me!
Love,
Tmo

22 days later...

Not so hot anymore! It's COLD! Hellloooooo Autumn...
So this cold brought on hurricane Igor, which wrecked a little havoc on Newfoundland. So Mr. M has to go help since that is part of what the army does. I'm being a little selfish, because I really don't want him to go. The tour is a little too fresh for me and I feel my state of mine will not co-oporate with a couple of weeks of him gone. I assume once he leaves I'll be ok, but right now it's a little much.

I will keep myself busy and eventually he'll be back, then he'll go again, come back, then go again, then it'll be Christmas.

I"M SO EXCITED FOR CHRISTMAS!

He's going to miss my birthday. :(

Camping, pageants, and diving...oh my!

Sooooo, last weekend was spent having an amazing time with 2 of my sorority sisters, one funny guy, and three more visitor friends PLUS a whole bunch of alcohol. It t'was a fantastic time. I also got a new hat, which I like very much, you can see it directly below.

I have been a little stressed lately, but the good in my life by far outweighs it. :)

I am loving Pretty Little Liars!! & The Real World. They entertain me at the moment.

My hunny is in bed, he's a tired boy lately. He's been helping instruct on a Dive Prelim and has to do crazy workouts with them. So it's like a 10K run then swimming halfway to the next city, then all this stuff in between!

Hmmm, what else has been going on in my life? Oh! I'm going to my Hometown tomorrow night because my sister is in the pageant! I won it in 05, so I'm so proud of her for going into it. Not because I want her to win, I just want her to have the experience I did of doing something fun with your friends. I also gained a WHOLE bunch of confidence from it. I used to be very shy in highschool, but through grade 11 and 12 I changed a lot.

I'll tell you sometime. I need Sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep.

Love,
Tmo

Military Girlfriend Late Night - Barely Awake - Rant

Not sleeping well. I just don't want to go to bed. Nights like this remind me of my younger self who did not like going to bed on time and secretly stayed up later in rebellion. The only one I'm rebelling against is myself, which is somewhat annoying and ironic. Other than that - I'm good!

Heard from Mr. M the other morning for about 10 minutes. He's coming home for his 2 and half week break before going back for the dreaded, over 4 months, span of time, in less than a month! I am certain I will deal with it just the same as I am now. I know myself a lot better than I realized - I didn't push myself after he left. I gave myself time to be lazy at first and now I'm doing pole dancing classes every Sunday & rock climbing twice a week, plus I joined the gym this morning. ;) I'm getting some cooking lessons from my awesome auntie this Saturday. I'm actually loving life quite a bit and I do feel guilty but Mr. M is also having cool experiences, ha. I feel kind of like the odd one out sometimes because I am doing so well, but then I take a step back and look at my situation compared to the other ladies and I am different. I think I would definitely be having a much harder time if we had lived together or had a child together or were married. None of those apply though. Maybe I'm just tucking all my emotions away, unhealthy, but very effective. Whatever it is, I'm happy for it and thankful for the "me" time, even though I miss him I know there is not one damn thing I can do about it. I do have some really tough times but I guess I just don’t focus on them.

He comes home in 27 days. Wow. I’m already sad about him leaving…I just want to get this over with so we can start happy-ness! Can't wait to live with him! I go into shops downtown in the city and dream of what it will look like...

I wish he could cuddle me right now. Alright! I'm getting whiny.
This was pretty much a rant in it’s entirety. I know my sentences were awful, but it IS 2:31 in the morning now.
Ok, sleep now. Maybe…hehehe.

Much love from a sleepy TJayne who will embody Audrey in Breakfast at Tiffany's tomorrow afternoon, as she will still be in bed (and then get ready for a fabulous evening of wings!).

Ps. Shoutout to my sorority ladies - we need a date.

Turkey, Talking & Tans

Thanksgiving weekend went by quite smoothly. Mr. M and I visited with my family and moved me into another room in another home with another wife. It's a bigger room than the last one, and she has every room in this house decorated amazingly, including this one.
Last night Mr. M I were both feeling the exact same way at the same time. This hasn't happened in a long time because of the deployment. It was the "I want everyone to just go away so we can both hold on to each other and just be." I'm so anxious. Our talks together consist mainly of when he comes back, since if we talked about what is happening tomorrow I would just never stop crying. I'm trying my best to be strong for him but lately we could be talking about what we are going to have for dinner and I'll start crying. Just for a couple minutes, then I'm fine.
He went to work this morning in his tans, which made me feel sickish and unable to sleep. I'll be ok, after the next two days are over. This is the hardest part.

Work now.

4 Days

So, I'm still in a somewhat of a denial towards the impending doom of deployment. I know it's coming, just not in the amount of days the title of this post indicates. I have so much to do before then. Sigh. Here is a list, just because I like lists:
-Pack
-Visit Family
-Time with him

I realize there are only three things, however, they are big important things. So there.

In regards to the impending doom - went out last night as a sendoff thing for the boys. Wasn't terrible actually, but that was mostly because I barely drank, while my significant other was somewhat of a lush and was tanked faster than you can say "pre-deployment anxiety". The toilet was indeed his friend by the end of the night, but no fights occurred - other than me getting slightly annoyed at the continuous drinking when I had asked him to slow it down, no harm done, though.

Blog Interrupted By:
MILITARY GIRLFRIEND RANT
I HATE MRS. ANNOYED AT DEPLOYMENT

Sometimes, I wish as a girl, we didn't experience so many odd, ridiculous, unusable feelings. They are just there and they interrupt everyday life with no regard for manners. For instance - Girlfriend says: "Talk to me, babe." Boyfriend says: "What about?" Then the crazy feelings leaps out of nowhere and say: "I don't know, just anything, you always just want to talk about movies to download to watch while you are overseas, you don't even talk to me anymore. I just want to talk, you are leaving soon and we just never talk anymore." Then you have Mrs. Confusing Sentences, Mrs. Cranky and Mrs. Annoyed At Deployment just blatantly sitting on your lap on display for the whole world to see, including poor clueless boyfriend. So, then you have to take a minute to push Mrs. Confusing Sentences, Mrs. Cranky and Mrs. Annoyed At Deployment onto the floor and then apologize to poor clueless boyfriend. All the while trying to ignore Mrs. Annoyed At Mrs. Annoyed At Deployment who is trying to climb into your lap.
THE END.

So, I need to get back to trying to pack and getting ready to go to my friend Trin's birthday dinner at a local pub tonight. Should be fun! She is a very good friend of mine who is a military fiance. Her man is going over with mine, so we are going through this together - you can read her thoughts on life.army.love.

Anyway, back to my life in the real world.

5 Days

I can't even ignore the countdown anymore, it's right there, and anyone that knows simple math could figure it out. When I'm not with him I'm fine, but when I am, it takes two seconds for an emotion to turn on and off. It's getting hard to determine which feelings are of normal cause and which are Afghanistan caused.
That's all for now.

Numbers

So, I would be in bed but it's covered. Clothes, books, and various hair products are covering my bed in my attempts to clean. The fact is: I clean at night. Which is such an annoying habit. I feel most like cleaning late, late at night, but I'm tired, so I always end up cleaning half my room then grow tired enough that I dump everything from my bed onto my floor. It's just stupid really.  I shall blog then finish the clean/fail at cleaning process. Perhaps try daytime cleaning tomorrow?

Since this is a blog that focuses on my riveting life I do have to talk about my life as a military girlfriend. I try to stay away from the topic since people don't generally like to hear me complain but it's a part of me, so deal with it. 16 Days. 2 more weekends. 11 days with him. 2 Weeks. However you want to put it, it's really damn soon. Then a possible 55 days till his break. 20 Days of his break. 4 and a half months until he comes home after that. 8 Months until we move in together. My head is overloaded with dates, countdowns, and possible time lines. I can't wait for life to be normal again.

I want this dress sooooo badly from American Apparel. I love love love it.

I'm a huge fan of Audrey Hepburn, and I found a quote that I love so much by her, thought I'd share it:

"Nothing is impossible, the word itself says 'I'm possible'!"

That is about all I can handle of blogging. Night Night.
Love, T. Jayne
